Birds

Ndege (compliments of Gerry)

I'm not much of a bird fan, so I don't have a lot of bird pictures and will put them all on one page. However, I must say that I was amazed at the number of unique birds, especially different kinds of eagles, on safari.

Ostrich

Ostriches were quite numerous, but never appeared in more than a group of 6 or 7. And no, we didn't see any sticking their head in the dirt.

Tell me ... he's about to stick his head in the ground!

Helmeted Guinea fowls ... stupid, but rather pretty heads. According to Gerry, these are not your everyday guinea fowl. So, they are probably just trying to get our attention.
