During my ascent of all 55, I did a lot of research on the Internet and read a lot of publications. After climbing them all, I realized how poor nearly every source of information was at attempting to gauge the difficulty of each peak. Inarguably, difficulty is highly subjective. However, I cam up with a rating that involves letting others know how difficult a peak is as based on 1) the exertion level, and 2) the fear factor.
